Alka Eco develops innovative environmental technologies, including systems for resomation (alkaline hydrolysis) for humans and animals. Sustainability, efficiency, and the responsible use of energy and resources are central to these developments.
Turning innovative concepts into high-quality industrial systems requires specialized knowledge in engineering, production, and technology.
This is where the expertise of HAAN Industrial Group comes together with the innovations of Alka Eco.
HAAN has extensive experience in technical projects, industrial maintenance, and technical services. The company also has expertise in automation, robotics, machine building, and process optimization.
As part of Koobra Industrial, HAAN can also draw on the knowledge and technical capabilities of a broader industrial group.
A Strong Dutch Partnership
The collaboration with HAAN also represents an important development in Alka Eco’s production strategy.
The first unit was produced in collaboration with a German production partner. Following advice from Paul in ’t Velt, Senior Consultant, Alka Eco subsequently chose a Dutch production partner, among other reasons, to further strengthen the Dutch value chain and better align with relevant opportunities within RVO schemes.
Future units will be produced in the Netherlands according to an updated design incorporating Alka Eco’s latest technological developments.
In this way, we bring Dutch innovation, engineering, and production closer together.

Ludwig Marie Louis de Haan, Founder, Innovator, and Director of Alka Eco, has more than 35 years of technical experience, including extensive experience at DSM Research Technical Support. His expertise includes process technology, pressure and gas/liquid systems, rotating equipment, materials, corrosion, and industrial safety.
Joost van der Spek supports Alka Eco in acquisition and sales, as well as in building relationships with organizations seeking innovative and more sustainable solutions.
At HAAN Industrial Group, Jos Horsch, Manager Sales, focuses on strategic customer relationships and translating technical and operational needs into practical and future-oriented industrial solutions.
Scientific expertise also forms part of the network surrounding Alka Eco.
Prof. Dr. Emmo Meijer is scientific advisor to Ludwig de Haan. He has extensive experience in research, technology, and innovation. He previously held leadership positions at DSM Research and R&D roles at Unilever and FrieslandCampina.
Together, they bring innovation, science, engineering, production, and market knowledge together.
