There are other terms in use such as alkaline hydrolysis is a process for the disposal of human and pet remains.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Due to copyrights and trademark rules, we do not want to use those terms anymore\/or avoid them as much as possible finding in Wikipedia or other official websites.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>So, we basically use our own terms \u2013 Alka Eco Liquification. However, the Dutch government prefers the term Alkalische hydrolyse.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"faq2\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\"><button type=\"button\" class=\"w-tabs-section-header with_icon\" aria-controls=\"content-faq2\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><i class=\"far fa-question-circle\"><\/i><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\" itemprop=\"name\">What happens in the Alka Eco Liquification process?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-faq2\" itemscope itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\" itemprop=\"text\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>The <strong>Alka Eco Liquification<\/strong> process is performed after any viewing or visitation services the family wishes to have. When it\u2019s time for the process, the individual body is respectfully placed in a stainless steel vessel. Potassium hydroxide is added to the process, and the vessel fills with water. The solution of 95% water and 5% potassium hydroxide is heated and circulated.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the process, only the skeletal remains, and the process water called Effluent Remaining. The sterile process water is released for recycling (our bodies are approximately 80% water to begin with), and the vessel performs a fresh water rinse for the equipment and remains. When the operator opens the door, only the inorganic bone minerals remain.
