The Alka Eco Human System by innovator Ludwig Marie Louis de Haan represents a revolutionary step in funeral care, offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional burial and cremation methods. Designed for modern funeral practices, this state-of-the-art unit uses the process of liquification (Alka Eco Liquification) to gently and respectfully return human remains to the earth. This innovative energy recall system saves up to 50–80% energy, water, chemicals, and the reuse of hot effluent. While many existing systems have reached maturity, our innovation systems are designed to exceed industry standards. We’re currently pursuing key certifications, including CE and AD2000/PED.

• Processing Capacity: bodies up to 220 kilograms, with possible use of the recyclable carton PUUR Coffins

• Compared to traditional cremation, this method significantly lowers emissions.
• This system eliminates the need for burial space, thereby addressing the issue of land scarcity.

• Together with the eco-friendly PUUR carton coffin, the human body can be inserted into the system, where no more removing of the body from a coffin is needed. This reduces the risk of biocontamination to zero.

185 KW is the total gross KW. But, our energy recall system, enables savings from 50-80%. This is based on calculations, on March 12, 2021, by Ingenieur Jürgen Stichling Ing. Büro Stichling, Pfaffenhofener Str. 4, 86564 Niederarnbach, Germany.

In start mode, the total power consumption is theoretical 185KW, but that is gross. Since our energy recall system is generating savings of 50-80%, the gross KW is not applicable for a complete first cycle, and each new cycle, with re usage of the hot Effluent, your net energy, water, chemicals cost is even lower.

• Sustainable Technology: Utilises a gentle process of water, alkaline solution, heat, and constant water flow of 35 m³ an hour to fast break down organic material, with fewer carbon emissions than fire cremation. The carbon emissions from this method are seven times lower than those from fire cremation. There will be many more bone remains left to grind and present to several relatives.
• PACEMAKERS do not need to be removed; there is no risk of explosion, as there is in fire cremation.
• Compatibility with recyclable PUUR coffins: The deceased can stay in the carton PUUR coffin and be inserted in the unit. So, no risk of biocontamination.
• Energy recall system: Optimal savings on energy, water and chemicals, therefore further minimising the ecological footprint.
• The process is respectful and dignified, as it does not involve lifting the deceased from the recyclable carton PUUR coffin.
• Safe and Sterile Residue: The process leaves behind a sterile liquid and bone ash, suitable for return to the family.
